I am a firm believer that therapy can benefit every individual, but taking that first step can feel overwhelming. I have found that approaching someone with curiosity and without judgment can lead to an incredible collaborative process. I aim to meet people where they are at in their journey and offer a safe space to process experiences.
In my past experience as a substance use counselor, I blended a combination of CBT and DBT tactics. This helped individuals look at the connection between their emotions and actions, as well as how to manage intense emotions and practice mindfulness.
