As a therapist, my goal is to create a space where you can feel safe to explore your
identity, process your emotions, and make progress on your unique goals. I will work to
build a therapeutic relationship based on empathy and honesty, where you can be seen
as a whole person. I have experience working with clients going through life transitions,
anxiety, and depression and I have a firm belief that everyone has something to gain
through therapy.
I became a therapist after a decade long career in education and technology, motivated
by the idea that I could be the type of provider I myself was hoping to find. As a
transgender woman, I bring a unique experience and perspective into the room, and as
a former educator and historian, I have a deep understanding of the structures and
conflicts that shape both our society and individual lives.
I have worked with a wide array of clients, from college-aged students through to adults.
I have also focused on working with LGBTQ+ clients, and I believe that a shared identity
can be extremely beneficial when working with a therapist. If you’re interested in starting
your therapy journey with me, I am excited to connect and answer any questions you
might have.
