Professional Bio:

As a queer, nonbinary individual, I understand what it’s like being in therapy and the complex feelings that can arise in the therapeutic space. I strive to foster an environment where I can meet people where they are at, no matter their stage of life or

current circumstance. I bring empathy, honesty, authenticity and—when appropriate—humor to the space we co-create as a team. My role is to get to know you rather than fix you, and explore ways to work towards a future that aligns with your

values and therapeutic goals.

My professional career has spanned multiple settings: medical facilities, schools

and nonprofit spaces in which I witnessed the ways that our systems and institutions can

both heal and harm us. My previous work has allowed me to provide a container in which

people are encouraged to explore their own identity, lived experiences, and the ways in

which they influence how they show up in the world. I am particularly excited about

working with LGBTQ+ youth, young adults, and their loved ones. I understand that

therapy is a collaborative practice that should incorporate important members of one’s

community.

Our work together will be grounded in a relational approach: honoring the unique

relationship we co-create and utilizing it as a tool to examine how our dynamic can be

used to challenge patterns and unhelpful coping skills. I draw from liberation psychology

and anti-carceral practices, prioritizing bodily autonomy and emotional expression,

sometimes through art, music, and storytelling. I offer DBT-informed and somatic skills

to foster stronger relationships and assist you in navigating times of urgency and crisis.

This work can be intimate, challenging, and, sometimes, joyful, and I am grateful to be a

part of your journey.
