In early life, you learned emotional patterns and made adaptations to help you safely navigate the world. Some of these adaptations may serve you well throughout your life, and some hinder your ability to fully connect with yourself and others. In my work as a therapist, I help you uncover these patterns, understand their origin, and invite the changes necessary to help you thrive.
While I am guided by my expertise and experience as a therapist, I maintain a curiosity in my work that de-centers my assumptions and allows for a collaborative healing experience. You are the expert in your life, and you know what style of work is best for you. While real growth can feel uncomfortable at times, you deserve a therapeutic space where you feel heard, respected, and supported.
My experience as a therapist is in community mental health settings working with clients of all ages from typically underserved communities in Philadelphia. I am equipped to work with a wide range of life challenges, including depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, life transitions, and relationship difficulties. I am particularly interested in working with adult men who are struggling with loneliness, emotional isolation, and aggressive anger.
