My drive to become a therapist stems from wanting to help make conversations about mental health feel more open, collaborative, and accepted. I am passionate about reducing the stigma surrounding mental health and creating a space where people can feel empowered to ask for help without judgment. I acknowledge how hard it can be to reach out for help, and aim to create a warm and safe space that meets people where they are while providing the support and encouragement needed for growth.

I work with children, teens, and young adults who may be navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, trauma, or other challenges that can feel difficult to manage on their own. I believe therapy should be a collaborative process, where clients and families feel heard, respected, and actively involved in deciding what they want their therapy to look like. When working with children and adolescents, I also recognize the importance of looking at the larger system around them and partnering with caregivers to create meaningful support beyond the therapy room.

My approach is client-centered and trauma-informed, incorporating evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). In addition, because every individual is different, I believe therapy should be flexible and creative, adapting to each person’s unique needs while building on their strengths and developing meaningful skills to navigate life’s challenges. You don’t have to have everything figured out before reaching out. Reaching out is a sign of strength, and I be happy to connect and answer any questions.
